Tim Duma has hobbies for racing cars, hiking and playing tennis. Tim DUma loves to play tennis and
knows that it can be daunting for beginners, but with a few pointed tips such as the following, novices are sure to begin feeling comfortable on the court sooner rather than later:
·Take a few lessons when you’re starting out. This will allow you to begin with correct form, which can be difficult to correct later because your muscles might get accustomed to incorrect movements.
·Be sure to do proper warm-ups and cool-downs, including both light movement and stretching.
·Off the court, choose exercises that will help improve your speed and endurance, such as running and jumping rope, which will also help with coordination and footwork.
·As tennis is a very high cardio sport, make sure to always stay hydrated and nourished, as you will begin to burn lots of calories. Timothy Duma recommends always bringing water and a light snack, such as fruit.
